The GreenRise Virtual Acceleraor is focused on enabling and empowering AgriFoodTech Entrepreneurs to build successful and thriving businesses in Nigeria. This program aims to enable young Nigerian agripreneurs to turn their startup ideas into full-fledged business models ready for investment. Our focus is on the agrifood-tech sector, a sector that Nigeria needs to develop in order to diversify its economy and meet the demands of her fast growing population. The program is a organised by The GreenRise Hub, a Lagos based business incubator and accelerator that supports start-ups through its curated programs specific to agrifood-tech businesses, investment fund and coworking space.
Selected startups get to learn the requisite knowledge needed to be accepted into the program.
Participants get to receive $2,000 in seed capital.
Participants will be exposed to our networks to further benefit their business development opportunities.
Participants will be exposed to workshops, mentorship and office spaces.
Participants will continue to receive on-going support for their businesses.
Most part of the program can easily be accessed online from anywhere.
* You are a Nigerian with a business idea in the agrifood-tech space that clearly identifies the problem it solves.
* You have a sustainable and scalable business model.
* Agribusiness or idea is tech-enabled.
* A completed and submitted application form.
* You are resident in Nigeria.
* You are between the ages of 18 – 35.
* You are available to participate in the entire program if selected.
* You have a valid identification document.

This accelerator program is put together by Greenrise Innovation Hub Nigeria Limited (The GreenRise Hub) as part of its core objective to incubate and accelerated young startups in the agrifood-tech space in Nigeria.
We treat each application data as confidential information. Because we see hundreds of applications and some of them include similar ideas, it is not practical for us to sign NDAs.
The deadline is by midnight of 31st May. No late application will be accepted
We require that you work out of the program location during specific periods of the program, this benefits you because you can take advantage of the various learning opportunities and events. However, outside of these periods participating startups can work out of any location of their choice.
This is a virtual accelerator, therefore does not require you to have to live in Lagos.
Yes, but we require physical presence for all bi-weekly meetings or as may be requested for each month during the program. If there is any reason for not meeting this requirement, you will have to let the program manager know in time.
We try our best to notify applicants at least 2- 3 weeks before the program starts. Meanwhile, follow us on social media to keep up with updates and activities.
We are most interested in idea- to early-stage companies.
